Giving back to the local communities in which we operate is something we are committed to.
From our first Irish restaurant in Dawson Street to hundreds of restaurants worldwide, things didn’t happen overnight. We grew one restaurant at a time, with local people joining our team and making each restaurant part of their community. We know we have a role to play in each community and we’re privileged to be able to make a difference.
Veneziana Fund
Whether you're in Italy, Ireland, UK – or anywhere in between – we all appreciate how much historical architecture, peerless art and a warm sense of community contribute to the pursuit of life's simple pleasures.
A discretionary 30c will be donated on your behalf to the Veneziana Fund from every Funghi Di Bosco pizza ordered. The Veneziana Fund (registered charity number 262146) give 50% to Venice in Peril and the remaining 50% towards the restoration, repair and maintenance of buildings constructed in the UK prior to 1750.
Venice in Peril Projects
Venice in Peril is a charity which has worked in partnership with local stakeholders for more than 50 years to protect the city, its culture and its environment.
Projects completed by the Venice in Peril Fund include the restoration of the Madonna dell'Orto and San Nicolo dei Mendicoli churches, as well as the renovation of the church of Santa Maria della Visitazione’s coffered ceiling. It has also helped to pay for the rebuilding of the Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta, Torcello, and the re-anchoring and cleaning of the church of San Francesco della Vigna.
Enable Ireland
Milano also donates 30c from each La Reine pizza sold to the Tom Flanagan Fund, established in 2011 in memory of the late Milano Director.
To date, we have raised over €290,000, via events such as ‘Snowball Dough Ball Day’, with these funds supporting Enable Ireland’s services and their National Assistive Technology Training Services programme, which provides free technology services to children and adults with disabilities.
Enable Ireland supports over 13,000 children and adults with disabilities and their families and provides services in local communities throughout Ireland. For more information about Enable Ireland please visit www.enableireland.ie
