The dream began with the desire to bring pizza perfection from Italy to Ireland. In 1995 the dream turned into reality with the opening of the first Milano restaurant in Dawson Street, Dublin.
Dublin had never experienced such pizza perfection before! The first Milano soon became a favourite due to its relaxed and sociable atmosphere as well as for its fabulous pizzas and salads. The restaurant was frequently mentioned as a favourite meeting place of several modern Irish writers and artists. Since 1995, the demand for our pizza has grown and we’ve expanded our Milano brand throughout Ireland. Each pizzeria has their own distinctive personalities and styles and we’ve seen openings in Temple Bar, Cork, Galway, Limerick and beyond and we continue to grow and expand.
